But then this has got nothing to do with the sex libido. Most women may want an increase in sexual activity after the onset of menopause. The reason to this being they are confidant and sure that their chances of pregnancy is reduced, as with the on set of menopause, the production of eggs by the ovaries is also stopped. Sex that has been centered on reproduction or one that has been centered on not to reproduce, is thrown to the wind with the onset of menopause. Most mature women make use of vaginal lubricants to compensate for the loss of vaginal lubrication or they go in for hormone replacement therapy. Character changes may include aggressiveness and short temper. Some women show withdrawal symptoms.

Mature women who enjoy regular sex on an almost daily basis take on menopause easily than women who have abstained from sex for a longer period of time.
